The Michael Jordan gif is priceless haha.

Terrific writing, as per usual, Sarthak. Those win percentage numbers are staggering - great idea to use them the way you did in the piece.

Hahaha, thank you! That GIF is very usable, yeah 😂

Mad numbers. Tried a bar chart, but the towers took up the entire height haha. So left it as just the percentages. GSheets conditional formatting FTW

Just so so glad to see so many RF fans. Yay!! But yes, Nole is a machine. Hey, you gotta hand it to his grim focus and steely determination to win. That greed and hunger to win

This was a fabulous read all throughout. Federer has always been my favorite player, but I've resigned to the fact that Djokovic is the best there ever was. Feeling nostalgic about the days when I used to pray for Roger and Rafa when they'd go up against the party spoiler, Novak, in the later years. Those prayers were seldom answered.

Djokovic is a truly insane tennis player, totally.

Thank you so much, Sanket.

I have a tremendous gripe with him for organising that crowd-inclusive tennis tournament in the middle of a pandemic. And at the following year's Aus Open, expecting the rest of the locker room and crowd to be okay with the fact that he doesn't want vaccine because gangajal is best bro. Which is why, in this piece, I specified, "what we know of Djokovic as a tennis player" :P

“It’s like he was lab-engineered to perfection - perhaps the only way to emulate and eclipse the two great artists of his generation in Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.” Nice way to put it! That robotic tennis is what puts me off, watching him. Of course I am biased in favour of Federer so one should take my comment with a grain of salt. I don’t think he is going away without getting #25 and cementing his place as GOAT!
