Great write up, Sarthak. There's definitely a certain feeling of poignancy and dread as the duo take their last steps in international cricket, with a tinge of hope wanting them to finish on a high. Hope they make it to their final fairytale, with the dream farewell they deserve🤞
I know, I know, I know. I couldn't bear to see Nadal lose at the French Open 1st round, I can't bear to see Nole huffing and puffing and I was afraid to exhale at Sydney for these two. Needless to say I was sobbing in '22 at 5.30 am seeing my fave of All time Federer sitting and crying with Nadal. Heartbreaking. Just want fairy tale endings for these fine specimens of human endurance, grit, determination and talent in sport. And they're nice guys to boot. They deserve to be anointed GOATs or whatever moniker. They each deserve their footprints cemented in the Hall of Fame for eternity.

Loved reading this, Sarthak! Rooting for them to finish on a high. And indeed as long as the ‘why’ is clear, we will all be okay.
Thank you, Anish! Fully rooting for them.
