May be because I am an eternal pessimist but this just made me sad. Sad because it is so well written. Not sure if I will pick the book but I will read this again. Why can people not be assholes? Also, these superstars who are guilty of bad things, they get away because well they are superstars. And we all need superstars. I really hope to read something from you on the cricket tamasha that is going on right now. Excellent write up, but then you are a habitual awesome kumar. Thank you for writing this.
Stars are assholes because we don't question them. For them, anything goes, because they are good at kicking a ball. Sometimes I think our fandom for some of these athletes isn't all that different from the orange army rooting for El Supremo.
The cricket thing is disturbing, indeed. Will figure out the right story and write something :)
Thank you for writing this. It's inspiring to read about people like Rashid, Rukhsana and Khalida. To be able to overcome unimaginable circumstances and challenges to play a sport they love is quite something. Gives so much hope ❤️

Thank you so much. You are too kind :)

Thank you, Ila! These stories are so inspiring. Which is why I loved the book so much. It almost reads like a non-fiction account.
